Given the number of schools we support, we are always in need of Chapter members to assist in making the annual awards presentations. If you would like to help present these awards, please contact COL Alan Cunningham, Director of Community Relations by calling 804-796-7818 or by e-mail by clicking here.

COL Melville A. Drisko Jr. Memorial Leader-Scholar Awards.  The Chapter also administers a member-supported, JROTC Leader-Scholar Fund, whose tax-deductible contributions are used to finance $1,000 awards for senior-year JROTC cadets from high schools supported by the Chapter, who will be pursuing a career as a military officer through a senior ROTC or service academy program. This special progam was instituted by COL Drisko and LtCol Ed LeFebvre (both now deceased) in 2002. Following COL Drisko's death a few years later, the program was re-named in COL Drisko's memory.
